The Royal town of Caernarfon is on the The Menai Straits and within sight of Snowdon and its National Park Caernarfon's Galeri Arts Centre is situated on the edge of the harbour facing Anglesea. Caernarfon is a busy market town, a major tourist centre, the county town for Gwynedd and a major local commercial and administrative centre.
